How to Configure Recommended Items for Programs in DrWell

The Recommended Items feature empowers providers to strategically suggest additional, relevant programs to patients at the moment of peak engagement—right after checkout. By surfacing curated follow-up or complementary programs, providers can:

The Recommended Items feature allows providers to suggest additional programs to patients after a successful checkout. You can configure up to six recommendations per program. Follow the steps below to set them up.

1. Sign In

2. Access the Program List

  • In the top navigation menu, click Programs.

  • Find the program you want to edit.

  • Click the Details button next to the desired program.

  • On the program details page, scroll to the bottom.

  • Locate the Recommended Items section.


  • Click inside the Recommended Items input field.

  • Begin typing the name of the program(s) you wish to recommend.

  • Select a program from the dropdown to add it to the list.

  • You may add up to six recommended programs.

🔄 Note: The order in which you add items is the order in which they will appear to the patient during checkout.

5. Save Your Changes

  • After selecting your recommended programs, click the Save button at the bottom of the page.


✅ What Happens Next?

Once saved, the selected programs will be shown to patients immediately after they complete checkout for the primary program. This enables a seamless way to encourage continued care and program participation.
